Cheeky Banana, LLC is the realization of a long-time dream by founder, Lesley Fleming. Having worked in marketing & sales with Marriott and then in the healthcare industry with Senior Living, Lesley always maintained sewing as a hobby. With two children of her own, Lesley made the decision to step out from under the "shade of the palm" and do what she had longed to do: create a line of children's clothes that is fun to buy, easy to wear, and that celebrates the fleeting joy of childhood through the use of colorful fabrics and her original applique and embroidery designs.

"There is nothing groundbreaking in my story. The truth is I simply can't sit still and I drive everyone around me nuts. I absolutely need a creative outlet that I can immerse myself in and designing clothing came naturally to me. I envisioned a look for girls that was fun, contemporary and wearable.... yet still classic with clean lines and a girly fit - something I could see Jackie O wearing as a little girl. "
